Position overview:
We’re seeking an Arabic speaking Senior SEO & App Optimization Specialist to join our team, you will be based in our Cairo, Egypt office. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with a team of talented SEO professionals to support the long-term success of our clients.
The ideal candidate will have all-round SEO & App optimization experience covering on-site, off-site, technical SEO and App optimizations. You should be able to articulate key features and benefits of SEO & apps.
Full training is provided by our in-house team and your work will be key to achieving our mission of helping our clients grow organically.
 
SEO Key Responsibilities: 
  •  Work closely with account leads and local market teams to execute initiatives designed to successfully achieve our clients’ goals.
  •  Monitor and analyze website performance using SEO tools and analytics platforms, providing regular reports and recommendations for optimization.
  •  Execute technical deliverables such as UAT checks, supporting web migrations, robots.txt checks, XML sitemap analysis, redirect mapping, canonical tags, broken links, 404 errors, unindexable pages, page speed, etc.
  •  Identify and track core and emerging keywords. Collaborate with content teams to develop and optimize high-quality, keyword-rich content for improved organic visibility.
  •  Execute content deliverables such as content briefs, content audits, keyword research, competitor analysis, optimization of landing pages, meta data review, etc.
  •  Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure optimal content performance.
  •  Engage a 'problem-solving' mindset for challenges, manage time effectively, communicate clearly, and have a keen attention to detail to ensure work is on time and of the highest standard.
  •  Provide regular updates on timeline, deliverables, performance reporting, competitive intelligence analysis, and other follow-up items
App Optimization Key Responsibilities:
  •  Optimize app listings (titles, descriptions, keywords, screenshots, and videos) for App Store, Google Play Store and Huawei App Gallery to enhance visibility, user acquisition, and conversion rates.
  •  Conduct in-depth keyword research to identify high-volume, relevant keywords for each app category and target audience. Monitor and adjust keywords to maximize search visibility.
  •  Perform A/B testing on app store listing elements, such as app icons, screenshots, descriptions, and videos, to identify the most effective combinations for improving app downloads and user engagement.
  •  Use app store analytics tools (such as App Store Connect, Google Play Console, etc.) to track app performance, keyword rankings, downloads, and user engagement metrics. Provide actionable insights to improve results.
  •  Conduct regular analysis of competitor apps to identify trends, opportunities, and weaknesses that can inform optimization strategies.
  •  Focus on improving app store page conversions by optimizing app descriptions, visuals, and other elements to drive more installs.
  •  Work closely with marketing, design, and product teams to ensure cohesive messaging and branding across all app store assets. Coordinate with product teams to keep app metadata up-to-date and aligned with new app releases and features.
  •  Provide regular reports on ASO performance, including app store rankings, visibility, installs, and key KPIs. Offer recommendations for ongoing optimization.
 
Key Responsibilities:  
  •  You must have a firm understand on how Search Engines and app store operate, index content, and have a grasp of the various algorithms currently in play.
  •  Experience within an SEO & app optimization focused role.
  •  Have the ability to work with minimal supervision while maintaining focus and productivity.  
  •  Experience working with SEO & app tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog & AppsTweak.
  •  Good communication and interpersonal skills capable of maintaining strong relationships.  
  •  Natural curiosity to think outside of the box and problem-solving skills.  
  •  Ability to work in a team environment that promotes collaboration.  
  •  Able to communicate effectively, and work as part of a team.
  •  Experience using basic features of PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel (E.g., Creating and formatting PowerPoint presentations, sorting and filtering data, creating graphs and tables).
  •  Advanced understanding of keyword ranking tools with the ability to draw insights where necessary would be an advantage but again training will be offered.
  •  Be a self-starter and want to develop your SEO & app skills through training, self-learning, and tackling new client challenges.
